Your BWCA Committees are the energy powering the engines that drive all our community action. Strong committee participation makes everything possible. Our dedicated committee members spearhead the initiatives that help make our association great.

Volunteers are much needed and always welcome. We encourage you to sign up and be a part.

Executive Committee
Chair:  Ricky Warren
The Executive Committee consists of the officers, the immediate past president and three directors.

Finance & Audit
Chair:  Susan Robinson
This committee assists the Treasurer with setting an annual budget and conduct an annual audit of BWCA finances.

Communications, Publicity and Social Media
This committee is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Website, maintaining social media outlets, producing a quarterly newsletter, and any general communications necessary to the neighborhood at large.  This committee works closely with the Safety, Security, and Neighborhood Watch committee regarding security bulletins.

Membership Committee
Chair:  Christopher Morley
This committee is tasked with recruiting new members, welcoming new residents, maintaining the membership database and creating/maintaining a neighborhood directory.

Safety, Security and Neighborhood Watch Committee
This committee will be responsible for setting up and maintaining policies and programs that improve the safety and security of the Briarcliff Woods neighborhood.  This includes but is not limited to setting up a neighborhood watch program.

Zoning and Public Planning Committee
Chair:  Gunter Sharp
This committee will work with the local and state officials to learn about upcoming zoning and public space changes that will affect our neighborhood.

Social Committee
This committee will plan the various community events such as Fall Fling, Community-Wide Yard Sale, and Popsicles in the Park.

Schools & Education Committee
This committee will work with various local officials and school boards to communicate back to the board and neighborhood any issues that might affect the schools that serve the Briarcliff Woods neighborhood.

Gardening, Beautification & Greenspace Committee
This committee will establish programs to maintain the neighborhood common areas, work with the county on local green space initiatives (including Pendergrast Park), and promote policies that encourage beautification of the neighborhood.  This includes working with the county on any tree ordinance issues.
